What students are saying:

“I have been attending classes with Aerial Fit for over a year. I am amazed how strong I have become! Not only are the classes fun, they are safe. Jordan and Clayton are experienced teachers that make sure a person is strong enough to try certain “tricks.” As a woman approaching 40, I am looking for new ways to exercise and I cannot explain how much fun it is to exercise while hanging upside down! I love being able to work out while working on a new trick. I feel such a sense of pride and accomplishment when I am able to do some amazing trick. It is so much better than going to the gym and doing the same thing over and over. I can actually tell I am getting stronger. I love the way Jordan and Clayton integrate exercise, fun, and safety all in just one class! I plan on “hanging around” with them as long as I can!” – Amy, MSN, RN CCRN

“Regular aerial classes have improved my strength as well as given an outlet for all stresses that accumulate from work. That moment in time when I am suspended in air, I no longer think about what’s beyond the gym doors. It is one of the rare moments when I can focus on just one thing. This is not just a gym, there is a camaraderie among the students and instructors.” – Angela, DVM, Veterinary Surgeon

“In my late fifties, I began practicing aerial yoga with Jordan Anderson. It has been such a positive experience for me as it has helped me counteract the unfortunate, and inevitable, effects of aging. I hope more people will have the opportunity to practice aerial yoga and feel its amazing benefits. I think this circus building is a great option for anyone looking to have fun and improve their physical fitness.” – Ann, Proud Grandmother

“I LOVED my time at Aerial Fit, and I definitely want to take a class or 10 next time I’m back in Charleston. It’s nice to find a low impact activity that absolutely kicked my butt. It seems like the highest form of Pilates, and it really brought to light ways I can be more fit. The classes at your gym were a fun and creative way to get stronger and challenge myself. I also greatly appreciated the quality of your instruction and your dedication to the safety of your students. I love how on my first day there the other girls told me “this is where we started.” I appreciated that :).” – Bonnie, Traveling Professional

“Aerial yoga had positively affected my life in so many ways. Physically, I am in the best shape of my life, even after having a baby. Mentally, aerial yoga has helped me to be more adventurous and carefree. I suffer from severe anxiety and aerial yoga helps me calm my mind both on and off the mat. I am also learning to cultivate my spiritual practice through weekly yoga sessions. I think everyone in Charleston should have the opportunity to experience this unique type of yoga.” – Jessica, Stay At Home Mom

“Aerial yoga is the time I put aside once a week for myself. Like most motivated professionals, I’m very busy, but I always make time for aerial class. It gives me a sense of calmness that is invaluable. I leave class feeling less stressed, happier, and healthier. It is an important part of my hectic life.

As a teacher I see how important good health and exercise are for our community. I have never been terribly coordinated so i find most sports frustrating. I tell people all the time that with Aerial Fit I’ve finally found something physical that I’m good at! Without it I wouldn’t have an outlet for activity. I’m sure I’m not the only person that has felt defeated by traditional sports which is why it’s so important that there is now a dedicated circus school in this area.” – Melissa, National Board Certified High School Teacher and Department Head

“Aerial classes have challenged both my my mind and my body. I have become stronger physically and the fabrics offer a mental puzzle that is not only challenging but rewarding as well. Circus schools offer an intriguing and interesting alternative to the health and fitness industry in the lowcountry. I know I was bored and burnt out from the normal gym setting, and found aerial after seeking out alternatives. Aerial is a great full body workout, and it is so much fun it hardly even feels like “work”. This form of exercise is not only very rewarding to the practitioner but beautiful to watch and is becoming more and more popular as a way of increasing strength and also flexibility.” – Mallory, Yoga Instructor/Student

“Finding the Aerial Fit studios was one of my luckiest finds since moving to Charleston. I take three classes a week, and it’s become my workout, my stress relief, and one of my favorite things to do. It’s incredibly good exercise, and it’s FUN! I’m in the best shape of my entire life (by far!) Toned muscles everywhere! Did I mention the people I’ve met are amazing as well?” – Angela, Graphic Designer

“I am a CEO of 3 boys, and a jewelry designer. I ruptured two discs and herniated a third disc in my back in August of 2011. I did PT and had injections until December 2011, that helped with pain but not with getting me back to my active life. I found the aerial yoga online and called Jordan. I explained to her about what I had been through. She took it upon herself to research my injuries so she would have a better understanding of what my body needed. I have been working with Jordan since January of 2012. I started with a beginner aerial yoga class and it took off from there. The aerial yoga and circus training has done more to improve my back in two distinct ways, first by hanging it is more organic traction than any thing my Physical Therapist could do for me and second the core strength I have built from the circus training has helped me to have my active lifestyle back. I have not met two people that are more dedicated to the wellbeing of their clients than Jordan and Clayton. I wish all trainers and teachers could see how invested they are in their students.” – Merritt, busy mom

“For those of us who desire regular fitness classes, but abhor the environment of a traditional gym, Aerial Fit provides a great outlet for real fitness training with real results, with the additional bonus of learning a fun skill! Jordan and Clayton make aerial fitness accessible to a wide range of students. I enjoy having a workout that challenges my muscles and my mind.” – Evelyn, Small business owner: seamstress, and director of Carnivalesque

“Thanks to the fantastic instructors at Aerial Fit I’m sporting a new sense of flexibility! (and a few well earned bruises to boot). If you want to brush up on your aerial training, I highly suggest a workshop or two with the Wonderson Duo in Charleston.” – Gina, Aerial performer- LunaTrix Arts

“I have to say that this is the best decision that I’ve ever done. Jordan and Clayton are awesome and phenomenal in making sure that you’re safe and understand what you’re doing. Also it is a lot of fun! For anyone that is thinking about it just do it because it will be spectacular! :)” – Sandra, Entrepreneur
