Youth Summer Camps

Serious training that is seriously fun! Let your inner circus star shine and get one step closer to Cirque Du Soleil. The Aerial Fit® summer camps are an action packed, fun filled week of aerial sling, static trapeze, circus games and, of course, strengthening and flexibility. Students will learn the fundamentals of what it takes to be a safe and exciting circus star. While learning to climb, flip and perform real circus skills, students are also discovering the empowerment of overcoming challenges. During the week long camp each day will cover the following disciplines and activities. Students will be learning a short choreographic sequence on the static trapeze and aerial sling. The majority of the time will be spent on the apparatus in the air. Students will also work on other circus disciplines such as handstands, ground acrobatics, flexibility, object manipulation (juggling and spinning poi), and group circus games designed to teach aspects of each of these disciplines. Circus skills build strength, flexibility, balance, full body coordination, concentration and endurance all the while in a safe, playful environment. Rope Basics – Climbs and Beats

Our new mini-series classes are for continuing aerial students to learn something new! In this series, we’ll explore the Aerial Rope (Corde Lisse) with an emphasis on building strength and technique. Students new to Aerial Rope will learn the basics of climbing and momentum on rope, and continuing Rope students will learn more complex climbs and momentum transitions. Series runs for 4 weeks in May. Pre-requisites: 1 dead hang pull-up and 1 clean straddle-up from the air to each side of the fabric; or Aerial Rope 2 and higher; or Aerial Silks 2 and higher. Aerial Yoga FUNdamentals Series

Aerial Yoga FUNdamentals is an 8-week series for anyone interested in Aerial Yoga! New students will learn the fundamentals to develop a strong practice, and returning students will be challenged further. Class meets for 8 weeks starting on 4/27, Thursdays at 10:00am. Sign up here.

Aerial Kids and Teens Classes

These next Aerial Kids and Teens series will run in a 6 week format, to accommodate our upcoming Summer Camp schedule. The Aerial Kids (age 7-10), and Teens & Tweens Series (age 11-15) are a unique chance for kids to learn important skills like concentration, coordination, teamwork, and confidence in a fun environment. They will learn a variety of circus skills including aerial silks, trapeze, tumbling, balancing, and more. Circus is empowering, fun, non-judgmental, and non-competitive. These sessions runs in a 6-week session, with a mini-photo-op at the end of each session. Pre-registration is required. Enjoy acts by our advanced students and staff at our upcoming Mythical Beings showcase! This show is family-friendly and you’ll see acts on Aerial Silks, Trapeze, Rope, Sling, and Aerial Chair.
